I’m a Device Owner and User – What Should I Do?
- Keep up to date with device patching.
- Continue to exercise caution when encountering email attachments and links.
- Do not install software for which you are not confident of the source.
- Check with your departmental IT staff for more information.

About 1500 UTORids have been blocked and will require password resets as a result of a worldwide security breach involving more than 1 billion accounts and passwords discovered last week.
The Help Desk and Information + Technology Services are working to reset these accounts and notify users.
