Norton AntiVirus for Mac OSX 10.3 and 10.4
After downloading the antivirus software from the UTORprotect website, follow these instructions to install it on your Macintosh running OS X 10.3 or 10.4 (not compatible with Snow Leopard).
Note: Before installing Symantec AntiVirus Client, uninstall any existing virus software you have on your computer.
- If you are prompted, choose Open With DiskImageMounter.app. If the navmac.dmg file saves directly to your desktop, double-click it. A Norton AntiVirus 10.x Corporate CD will be created and opened on your desktop.
- Double-click on the Norton AntiVirus installer.
- Click Continue.
- The Read Me window appears next. Click Continue.
- Read the licence agreement, and click Continue.
- A dialog box will appear to ask if you agree with the license. Click Agree.
- Select a destination drive (Macintosh HD) for the installation and click Continue.
- Click Install.
- Enter your computer log-in password and click OK.
- In the next window, click Continue Installation to confirm the installation.
- Click the Logout button to finish installing the software and restart the computer.
