Webmail login redirects to Weblogin Status page


When logging into Webmail, you may be redirected to the "UT Weblogin Status" page where it will inform you that you are still logged in. One possible resolution is to clear your browser cache and cookies.

Internet Explorer 8:

  1. Launch Internet Explorer.
  2. From the Safety menu, select Delete Browsing History.
  3. Place checkmarks beside Temporary Internet Files and Cookies.
  4. Click Delete.

Internet Explorer 7:

  1. Launch Internet Explorer.
  2. From the Tools menu, select Internet Options.
  3. From the General tab, under Browsing History, click on Delete....
  4. Next to Temporary Internet Files and Cookies, click on Delete files.
  5. Click Close, then click OK.

Mozila Firefox 3.5:

  1. Launch Mozilla Firefox.
  2. From the Tools menu, select Clear Recent History....
  3. From the dropdown menu labeled Time range to clear, select Everything.
  4. Click the down arrow next to Details.
  5. Place a checkmark beside Cache and Cookies.
  6. Click Clear Now.

Mozilla Firefox 3:

  1. Launch Mozilla Firefox.
  2. From the Tools menu. select Clear Private Data.
  3. Place a checkmark beside Cache and Cookies.
  4. Click on Clear Private Data Now.

Safari:

  1. Launch Safari.
  2. From the Safari menu, select Empty Cache....
  3. Click on Empty
  4. From the Safari menu, select Preferences....
  5. Click on Security, and from the dialogue box, click on Bookmarks.
  6. Click on Show Cookies.
  7. Click on Remove All, then click Done.
After clearing the cache, try to access Webmail via http://webmail.utoronto.ca instead. Tags: Webmail
