Message delivery confirmation in OWA


  1. Create a new message in Outlook Web Access (OWA) and click the Options button. There are two Tracking options:
    • Request a delivery receipt for this message if you want to be notified that the message has reached the recipient's Inbox.
    • Request a read receipt for this message if you want to be notified that the recipient has opened or viewed the message. 
  2. Click OK to save tracking options selections and send the message. When the message has been received or read, you'll get a message from the System Administrator or the reader(s) letting you know that the message has been delivered or read.
Note: Requesting a read receipt does not guarantee you will get one. A read receipt can be cancelled by the email recipient. Tags: UTORexchange
