Your email quota is based on your INBOX folder and any remote folders you have created. The quotas for each email system are as follows:
50 GB storage quota
2 GB storage quota
- when the account exceeds 1945 MB, a warning message is sent.
- an over quota message will be sent when the account exceeds 2 GB. You can still receive new messages (up to 2.3 GB) but you will not be able to send messages.
To see how much space you are currently using go to the UTORid Information page, select the "Show current sizes of your UTORexchange folders" option and then log in with your UTORid and password.
You can also check your quota through Outlook Web Access. Instructions are in the article "View UTORexchange Mailbox Quota in Outlook Web Access (OWA)"
If you are using Outlook 2010 and UTORexchange, you can check your usage by clicking on the File menu and then select Info and look under Mailbox Cleanup
100 MB quota
- when the account exceeds 100 MB, a warning message is sent.
- when the account exceeds 120 MB, new messages will not be delivered, but are held at the UTORmail post office for a few days, and then returned to the sender. The returned messages cannot be retrieved. You will be notified by email that this is happening. When account usage is sufficiently reduced, delivery of currently held and newly arriving messages resumes within half an hour.
To see how much space you are currently using go to the UTORid Information page, select the "Show current sizes of your UTORmail folders" option and then log in with your UTORid and password.
