Shared Contacts - Using the Shared Contacts


Outlook for Windows

  1. In Mail view, create a new message. Click To and in the pull-down menu under Address Book, you should see your shared folder. Select it to show the contents Choose one and add it to the To field. Click OK. Compose the rest of your message as usual.

  2. If you added a Distribution Group, press the plus (+) sign in front of it to expand the group. This will prevent issues when someone replies to your email and includes all recipients.

Outlook 2011 / 2016 for Mac

  1. In Mail view, create a new message. Click the address book icon beside the To field. From the second pull-down menu in the window that appears, you should see your shared folder. Select it to show the list of names.

  2. For each contact you wish to add, select it and click the To button. Once you have finished adding contacts, click the close button. Compose the rest of your message as usual.

Entourage for Mac

  1. In Mail view, expand the Public Folders view until you get to the Shared Contacts Public Folder (Public Folders > All Public Folders > UTORexchange Public Folders > Shared Contacts).

  2. Right-click on the Shared Contacts you wish to use and choose Subscribe.
  3. Create a new message. Click on the To field and from the pull-down menu to the right, choose the Public Folder you just subscribed to. A list of the contacts in the public folder will appear on the right hand side. Double-click each contact you wish to include in the message.Compose the rest of your message as usual.
