Thunderbird sending old email address after changing it


After changing your email address, you need to change the settings in Thunderbird to use your new email address.

  1. Start Thunderbird.
  2. From the Tools menu, select Account Settings.
  3. Click once on your UTORmail account.
  4. Ensure that the top of the window now says Account Settings.
  5. Under Default Identity, enter the new email address next to Email address.
  6. If you have something in the Reply-to Address field, change it to the new email address.
  7. Click OK.
