Email attachment size limit

The UTORmail system is limited by the amount of data it can transfer at once. You can send up to 50 MB of data through our outgoing mail server at a time. However, this does not mean you can send a 50 MB email to as many people as you want. If, for example you are sending an email which is 10 MB in size you can only send it to 5 people (the email is sent 5 times multiplied by 10 MB per instance which totals 50 MB).

If you wish to know the size of the email you are working on, save a copy of that email to your drafts folder. Most email programs or webmail will have an option somewhere in the compose window or the menus to do this. Once you have saved it, go to the drafts folder and find the column that displays the size of each email.
